#25 - “FROM FOTO TO FABULOUS" Two Day Machine Class Feb 9-10

Fri - Sat

DESCRIPTION:

"From Foto to Fabulous" Using a photo provided by Myra, students will place base pink petals on background fabric, using only a washable glue stick to adhere the petals. Myra will instuct the students on making a quilt sandwich and then start the process of painting the details of the flower with threads after practicing on a test piece. Explore the different kinds of effects caused by different types of thread. Myra is an expert! You will love her easy to follow instructions and uplifting classroom setting. Experiment and learn about texture before working on the flower. The finished size of the piece will be about 24" x 24".  The first day is happily spent on building the flower and testing different threads.  The second day will fly by during a fun-filled class working on the flower, itself.

A $25 kit is mandatory and will contain:

A full size photo of the hibiscus

2/3 yards of fabric for the front and 2/3 yards of backing for the quilt.

A piece of cotton batting will also be included.
